Father, Brother, Twin Brother & Son.
In 2019, my life changed forever after the death of my twin brother Luke. It is hard to put into words the grief and loneliness you feel when you lose someone you love. It is one of the most challenging things we experience as humans. We cremated Luke, and deep down in my heart, when the time was right, I knew through childhood experiences the perfect spot to spread his ashes. To me, Luke was unique. He was my other half, and my love for him was unconditional. I made it my mission to ensure those who knew him would never forget his legacy or his final resting place.
I dreamed of a world where everyone’s legacy lived on forever – an easily searched global registry to locate and memorialise the final resting place of loved ones. My passion and drive are to innovate a worldwide digital platform where we can store and access this precious information. The dream in which Ekulpoint came to me occurred shortly after the passing of Luke. The name derives from two words: Luke spelt backwards (Ekul), and point, the exact location of your loved one’s final place of rest.
